This is a reprint of the original publication of "Michigan Manual Of Freedmen's Progress" compiled by Francis H. Warren in 1915. Warren was secretary of the Freedmen's Progress Committee. An important source of information on the Negro in Michigan and their accomplishments. Lengthy signed presentation from Green on the front endpapers: "Detroit, '72. Jan. 5, 1972.
