BANEY, Ralph E. BEHIND THE SCENES IN GERMANY: EVERYDAY LIFE IN NAZI GERMANY. Illustrated with black & white photographs. Kansas City, Missouri: Brown-White Company, . Small 8vo., pictorial wraps; 125 pages. First Edition, second printing. A rare view into life in Germany under Nazi rule, with much discussion about the concentrations camps already underway, with the author also being arrested, persecuted and eventually thrown into one of the concentration camps, from which he was eventually released. This title is unaccountably rare, perhaps due to a drawing of Hitler in a knight's armored suit, riding a horse and carrying the Nazi flag, on the front cover? I have been unable to locate any other copies in the marketplace. Signed by Baney across his photographic frontispiece. Very Good (little soil & few light creases to covers). $125.00.
