Fisher was born in 1959 and suffered years of neglect and abuse as a child in foster homes. He eventually joined the Navy and later became a security guard for Sony Pictures. While there, Fisher decided to find his true parents and wrote his autobiography. "Finding Fish." The book was later made into the movie "Antwone Fisher," starring Denzel Washington.
