A science-based novel whose 92 chapters are named after the elements and sequelled in order of their atomic numbers. Signed by Lewis on the front endpaper. There is the name "Mae Lane 3-11-27" penned on the front pastedown and also on the hand on the front cover of the dust jacket. This is a very scarce book and even more so to locate a copy in the original dust jacket. At the heading of the first five chapters someone has penned a description of the element of that chapter.
