Signed presentation from Malloch on the front endpaper: "To my good friend Thos. Shallcross Jr., with all the good wishes I can think of, Doug Malloch. Chicago, October 24, 1919." With the personal bookplate of Thomas Shallcross Jr.- a prominent Philadelphia-based real estate magnate- on the front pastedown.
