A retrospective look at the Kennedy years as seen through pictures taken by "Life" magazine. "Life" was one of the great chroniclers of the Kennedy administration and the family, in one form or another, appeared on the cover of "Life" a record 21 times by 1988- the 25th anniversary of JFK's death. With 500 "Life" photographs, of which 100 are in color. Signed presentation from Edward "Ted" Kennedy on the front endpaper: "To Michael Katz, All the best. Thanks for your support, Ted Kennedy '93." Also with a typed letter signed from Kennedy's personal assistant, Jeannie Kedas, forwarding the book. A previous owner has had the Kennedy signature authenticated and there is a tiny sticker to that affect on the front endpaper, along with a laid-in certificate of authenticity.
