A nice association copy. Signed presentation from Metz on the half-title page, to a well-known Western author: "To Gordon Shirreffs, a top gun as a writer, & a straight shooter as a friend, Leon C. Metz, Portland, Or, June 27, 1989. WWA Convention." Gordon D. Shirreffs [1914-1996] was a prolific writer of Westerns and juvenile (young adult) novels.
