BARLOW, Arthur G. THAT WE MAY TREAD SAFELY. Cape Town: Tafelberg-Uitgewers, 1960. 8vo., red cloth in dust jacket. First Edition. Barlow was one of South Africa's most colorful political impresarios and a huge supporter of apartheid- one of the subjects of this book. Welensky was an extremely important figure in the politics of Rhodesia and a bit more liberal than Barlow. A nice association copy! Very Good (light foxing top edge & little bowing covers; contents clean & tight); moderate edgewear (small chips & tears, little browning) d/j. $150.00.
