A 15.5-inch by 10.5-inch page from the newspaper, the September 1, 1888 issue, featuring an engraving of the encampment of the Second Brigade, State National Guard, at Sea Girt. The image occupies the 9-inch by 11-inch lower half of the page and depicts a review of troops by Major-General Plume, on August 23, 1888.
