Toksvig was a Danish writer, published in many periodicals and also the author of another biography on Emanuel Swedenborg. Signed presentation from Toksvig on the front endpaper: 'To Claire- not known in discordance, but as if in long-established harmony with her friend. Signe. De Capo! Virum, Denmark, Sept. 8, '59." Also with a very lengthy and personal two-page autograph letter signed, dated Oct. 5, 1957, also to Claire, who is obviously a fellow author and a close friend. [See attached scan of the letter].
