Henry Starkey Fuller's narrative of his voyage to England and back on the S.S. Minnehaha and S.S. Furnessia in 1900. Author mentions passing by Sandy Hook and the Jersey shore "and the white stretch of beach to Asbury [Park] reacing out as if to welcome and encompass our steamer..." Signed presentation from Fuller on the front endpaper: "My dear Mr. [Laurens?]- These brief sketches may, I hope, interest you, recalling, perhaps, some of your own pleasant, first impressions abroad. Sincerely yours, H.S. Fuller. New York, Mch. 21/ 1902." Very Good condition (minor soil but covers & gilt nice & bright, contents clean & tight). An uncommon book! $100.00.
