A scarce history about the Foreign Mission Board on the National Baptist Convention. The Board is the foreign missions arm of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., which supports about 11 Mission Stations in Africa, the Caribbean and Central America. The book goes back to the beginning of organized religion among American negroes, through the early negro Church, and into the Baptist Church. A very scarce book by a Kansas City-based Baptist preacher, who was also the president of the local N.A.A.C.P. 8vo., blue cloth, stamped in gilt, in the original dust jacket; 301 pages. Item #55849
