George K. Tanham. Washington, DC July 31, 1975." Tanham was a former Special Assistant for Counterinsurgency at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok. Deitchman was an aeronautical and mechanical engineer and a consultant on military affairs. He worked for the Institute for Defense Analysis for 28 years and consulted for various U.S. Government and NATO advisory panels.
