[Chicago: Paul G. Triebel, 1925]. First Edition. Short signed presentation from Spicer at the top of the Prologue page: "Love to Virginia. Anne." Anne Higginson Spicer was a poet who lived with her husband, Vibe Spicer, in Kenilworth, Illinois. The two were active in the arts and crafts movement in Kenilworth at the turn of the 20tth century, founding the local Arts and Craft Guild and working in pottery, copper, brass and wood. A scarce work of simple juvenile plays by Spicer. 16mo. printed gray cardboard covers that were attached to the 10-page text using a thin red ribbon run into the punch holes and then tied in a bow. The ribbon is now gone but could certainly be replaced. There is a small circular imprint at the bottom of the last sheet, stating the work is copyrighted by Paul G. Triebel, Chicago, 1925.
