Baird with best wishes, Sincerely yours, Don Rose.” Rose [1890-1964] was a columnist and editorial writer on The Philadelphia Bulletin. His column, “Stuff and Nonsense,” was noted for its easy informality. It usually dealt with the minor tribulations of Iife. He wrote for the American, Cosmopolitan, Saturday Evening Post and many other magazines. On June 13, 1914, he married Marjorie Wells and over the next 17 years they had 12 children. When he died, he had 74 grand-children and two great-grandchildren. This title is about raising those 12 children. 8vo., red cloth in dust jacket; 256 pages. Item #57148
