An in-depth illustrated history of the US Airborne, includes USA Airborne insignia illustrated in color photographs; message from President George H.W. Bush, and Airborne Unit Histories, along with many black & white illustrations. This copy is limited to 100 numbered copies, signed on a special tipped-in plate on the front pastedown, by LTC (Ret) Geoffrey T. Barker, who wrote the "Operation Urgent Fury: Grenada" and "Operation Just Cause: Panama" sections of the text. A laminated 5 shilling Somali bank note was also laid in, so I left it here. An unusual copy. Thick quarto: blue faux-leather, stamped in gilt; 512 pages. Item #57283
Near fine (very minor wear & covers bright, contents clean & tight). A very nice copy. Weights six pounds so international postage will need to be determined.
