Alice Coleno is an author of novels, studies and tales for young people and taiught in France and at Wellesley College, near Boston. This title won the Prix de Jouy de l'Académie Francaise in 1949. Ellen Phoebe “Epi” Wiese graduates from Wellesley College in 1951 and then pursued graduate work in art history at Radcliffe. She continued her work as lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Design and the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts and in France, with support from a Fulbright grant.
