CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION
Chicago: Frederick J. Drake & Co., [1955]. Fully Illustrated. First Edition. Signed by Siegele on the front endpaper, which also bears the store’s ink rubber stamp at the base of the same page. An uncommon book, especially in the original dust jacket & signed, in a series from Drake’s Practical Books of Instruction. These books were, obviously, heavily used and to find nice copies is uncommon! While mostly-known for his nonfiction books on carpentry and building, Siegele [1883-1983] was also an author. His book “Pushing Buttons” (Boston: Chapman & Grimes,1946) is a short Lost Race tale. Tall 8vo., red cloth in dust jacket; 163 pages. Item #57404
Very Good (covers nice & bright; contents clean & tight with very minor browning endpapers); minor edgewear (very tiny chip) d/j.
Price: $85.00
