Hindlian.” One of the few books on the history of Armenians in the Holy Land. Hintlian was a resident of the Armenian Quarter in Jerusalem and curator of its Mardigian Museum. The Armenian Quarter occupies one sixth of the area of Old City Jerusalem. Meir Shilonne was in the Israeli Foreign Service and brought Jews from the Maghreb region of northwest Africa to Israel.
