[No place]: Feichtner & Mizrahi Fine Arts/Erhard Stobe, [2003]. Illustrated. Text in English & German. First Edition. Signed presentation from Erhard Stobe on the title page: “I hope you enjoy the book! Kilims can be purely decorative or can function as prayer rugs. Modern kilims are popular floor coverings in Western households. Like pile carpets, kilim have been produced since ancient times and the explorer Mark Aurel Stein found kilims dating to at least the fourth or fifth century AD. Erhard Stobe is an Austrian postwar & contemporary painter who was born in 1943. He is the co-publisher of this book and wrote most of its text. Quarto: decorative cloth; 128 pages. Item #58019
