ATONEMENT
Jonathan Cape, London:, [2001]. Signed, Limited Edition? A rather interesting volume, apparently issued as a signed, limited edition. And while it is signed on the title page, there is no limitation notice other than a sticker placed by the publisher on the front cover that states "Signed Limited Edition." The copyright page has also been modified to read "This signed and limited edition produced exclusively for Waterstone 2007." The dust jacket is also a variant from the trade edition, with a slightly different image of the young girl and a different background at the top of the image. There is also a ribbon marker that does not appear in the regular trade edition. I have only been able to locate one other similar copy. 8vo., black cloth in dust jacket; 372 pages. Item #58707
